Dress Casual Day, Friday, May 18th. Why? Students are invited to leave the uniform at home and bring in a toonie to help support our music department in their long standing tradition of raising funds to help with equipment purchases for our local Carleton Place Hospital. Accepting offers from an Ontario university:
May 29, 2012: This is the latest date by which all secondary school applicants shall expect a response from an Ontario university. Such a response will be one of a) an offer of admission; b) a refusal or c) a deferral pending the receipt of specific additional information.

June 1, 2012: This is the earliest date by which Ontario universities may require a response to an offer of admission and a financial commitment of any kind from an Ontario secondary student. All other admissions-related secondary elements including scholarships, other forms of student assistance or financial incentives, and offers of residence are considered part of the offer of admission. Therefore, a student may accept these other offers prior to June 1, 2012, but Ontario universities shall not compel a student to make an earlier decision.

Accepting offers from universities outside the province:
Individual universities set their own deadlines and procedures for accepting offers. Students must check with the school they have applied to.
